Mouse Guard
The contract has been signed.
While at Dreamation, Eru ran a couple games. One of the sessions had two 7-year-old players. The kids had a great time!
Dreamation
I didn't play much as I spent most of Saturday laid up with a migraine.
Friday night I played in
chadu's Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies game. The world is pretty awesome and most of the mechanics reasonably easy to grasp. There were a couple things I was fuzzy about (the damage system, who gets narrative control and when, etc.) but I'd need another session to give decent feedback.
Saturday morning I played a session of Steal Away Jordan. It's a story game about slavery; something that is pretty grim. However, the session I played included ghosts and the devil, which added a layer of fantasy to the darkness of the the subject. I had a pretty good time. This game also had mechanics I that I didn't quite get, but again it was a game at a convention. You can't take a lot of time to really learn the system if you want to get to the story.
I had planned on keeping my afternoon free, but instead was pulled into a game of Food Holes: Eat Your Way Out of the Gutter. It's a game of about life on the competitive eating circuit. It was a riot and totally disgusting and probably not something I should have played after eating lunch.

May I link?
Narrative control issues were a problem of the GM of that session. He's a real twit. ;)
The damage system of PDQ is one of those things people either love or hate.
Thanks again!
