Tickemaster has kindly reminded me that tickets for the NIN at the Spectrum go on sale Saturday.

Cheap seats are $39.50. Add in taxes and Ticketmaster charges and we're talking around $50 a ticket to sit in the boonies. Unfortunately, rent is due, our pets need food, we need food and the phone bill has to be paid. Oh, and I owe Gonzai $27 and have to ship a couple of packages for another $10 or so.

So no, Eru and I will not be going to the show.

On a happy note: Eru and I are meeting Lili and her husband at Kaffa Crossing on Saturday night to see a friend of Lili's play, and then on August 3rd my favorite band is doing a $$free$$ concert in the park in Chestnut Hill.

Speaking of Lili... She performed at Philly Rising open mic night on Monday and she WON! She goes back on August 5th and performs a full set along with the other July open mic winners (one from each week). Whoever wins the August 5th competition gets to make a 3 song ep! Eru and I can't make the August 5th performance but maybe other Philly folk can check out the show.
